Manage your personal data stored by Daily Us

Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we store about you
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Correct inaccurate personal data
  • Delete your account and all associated data
  • Restrict or object to the processing of your data

Request Your Data

You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. This includes:

  • Your account information (email, display name, avatar)
  • Couple pairing data (invite code, relationship start date)
  • Messages you sent (drawn images and captions)
  • Mission completions and achievement progress
  • Countdown events you created
  • Coin balance and login streak data
  • Subscription and plan information

To request your data, send an email to privacy@dailyus.life with the subject line "Data Access Request". Include the email address associated with your Daily Us account so we can verify your identity.

We will respond to your request within 30 days.

Delete Your Data

You can request the deletion of your account and all data associated with it. Please be aware that this action is permanent and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

  • Your user profile (email, display name, avatar, push token)
  • All drawn messages you sent (images and captions)
  • Your mission completions and achievement records
  • Your coin balance and login streak
  • Your couple membership

What happens to your couple

  • If you are the only member, the couple and all shared data (countdowns, daily missions) are deleted
  • If your partner is still a member, the couple remains but your messages and completions are removed. Your partner will be notified.

What is NOT deleted

  • Messages your partner sent to you (those belong to your partner's account)
  • Your partner's account and data
  • If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately through the Google Play Store before requesting deletion

To request account deletion, send an email to privacy@dailyus.life with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your Daily Us account.

We will process your deletion request within 30 days and send you a confirmation once complete.

Partial Data Deletion

If you don't want to delete your entire account but would like specific data removed, you can request partial deletion. For example:

  • Delete all your sent messages (drawings)
  • Reset your achievement and coin data
  • Remove your countdown events
  • Clear your push notification token

Send your request to privacy@dailyus.life with the subject line "Partial Data Deletion" and specify which data you want removed.
